Do you cover it and refrigerate it or not?

I have always covered and refrigerated, but I want to start putting the rest of the food into tupperware containers with the airtight lid.

Is it necessary to refrigerate or can you keep the food at room temperature as long as it is covered???????

Just asking because in the can, it's always room temperature, so maybe if you keep it covered up good and tight it can stay at room temperature???

What do you guys do????

Refrigeration is necessary to keep bacteria growth slowed. I only keep cans 3 days in the fridge, max. Ideally use within one day.

Thanks!

I've always refrigerated and used next feeding, but I wasn't completely sure.

I always refrigerate it, and then I warm it by either adding a little hot water or zapping it in the microwave (in a microwave safe bowl) for about 7 to 11 seconds.

Always refrigerate. One can is opened for tonights feed, then the rest used for tomorrow, they're generally in the fridge 2 days, maybe three, no more

I put in tupperware and refrigerate, use it the next day. I microwave for a few seconds so it's not cold.

I cover and put in the fridge. Its used at the next meal. The small can lasts 2 meals - the larger 3-4 meals. I put hot water over the cold food and it warms it up enough for them to eat.

I have always covered with a lid you can buy that fits each can size, and I always keep the canned food in the fridge once opened. I also microwave for a few seconds too take the *chill* off
