Another success story for the day :)

So my best friend Mandie calls me a little bit ago, and told me she was going to walmart to go get cat things, I was thinking wait huh?! She said her boyfriend talked her into getting a kitty today, and they ended up with 2 I told her thats what I would have told her to do And what makes it better is they got an all black kitty and a black and white kitty, and it made me happy...she said she told him I hope u aren't superstitious because I looove black cats

Also he wanted to get them declawed But me being me, advocate it and when I heard bout my brother considering it thats all Mandie heard about, and I showed her soft paws and everything...and she would never do that anyways! But so now she is going to get soft claws up at petco, and I am going to give her some of my guys' old toys that the dont play with anymore (and there is alot) and I am taking her shopping for kitty litter tomarrow, we got a good sale we got a box of fresh step today for $3, and a bag for $5! And she had called me on what to get, food bowl wise and litter wise so I told her for now get tidy cats because thats what we use, but I will take her up tomarrow to the place we got out litter today for cheap

U have to love disagreeing on cats he wanted a male that was very playful and she wanted a girl that was mellow, so instead they got the ones they both liked, each a few months old!

Its just a great day, full of adoptions

That is a great story! I love that they both will have a little fur buddie of their own and that each kitty will have a buddie in the other cat! That's just great!

The girl kittie isnt coming until Monday, because they messed up paperwork and she isnt fixed or microchipped, but the boy is home...she actually came and got me today and took me over there, and I told her wat litterbox to get and everything (she bought one with out a cover) And well he is still skittish but he just loves running around and playing with his toys, I took him over some catnip toys that my kits dont play with anymore and he would go and bat it around then hide it and run back onto it...I also told her to invest in a laser pointer...I took mine tonite to see if he would like it and he went nuts But everything went so well, I am just shocked...she keeps saying that shes goin to go nuts, with a 7 month old baby and 2 kittens, she really wanted an older kittie but the DH wanted kittens

Ya, I am so happy for them well I was so excited, I was actually ready for a nap (mind u it was 5 pm) and well I was layin there next thing u know the phone rings, and she tells me that

But she was laughing and smiling the whole time, we also did buy the soft paws up at petco...and I went there and she didnt put them on or nothing or want me to Shes just worried because of the baby and how wild the kitten is and he likes to hide under the playpin...but I did give her a scratching post and he knows how to use it and everything But there will be no declawing at all I am so glad that I educate and she has common sense Well she even said it was common sense, she was like I know what can happen and everything, she also told her dh that I had 6 cats so I could help out on whatever
