My cat and rabbit have seen eachother in passing outside, but before the cat was on the scene, we used to bring the rabbit indoors to spend time with us. Since we have had molly, we havent felt we could let him in. We would very much like to introduce the 2 together, but dont know how to go about it.
Has anyone succesfully had a cat and an ocasional house rabbit?

Over the river and through the woods...
I had a rabbit with 5 cats, and they got along fine, but the rabbit was an indoor only bunny and all but 1 of the cats was introduced to her as a kitten, so that may make a difference. If you only have 1 cat, you can try it be watch them closely. I would hold the bunny on your lap when you introduce them. That will show the cat that the bunny isn't prey, but NEVER let them alone for a long time, if ever. Good luck.

I keep my bunny in a seperate room that he has run of and my cats get to go in once in a while supervised. Alot of the time cats will be scared of the bun. I have a tiny rabbit and they are all scared of him it's quite funny actually. A couple of the cats have gotten a little better but still nervous around him. your bunny would probly be happier inside as long as he gets space to run around. good luck!
