Feliway Expires?

Hi, This question is really random. I just noticed on my bottle of Feliway Spray that it's EXP date is 8-2006. Does anyone know if it'll still work? Is it just a loss of potency or actually bad for my cat? Anyways, I'm just trying to have to avoid buying a new bottle if I don't have to.

I only recently started using it so don't have any background (and didn't realize it had an expiration date) but I would assume that just like any "drug" that it just might not be effective after that date. The only expiration dates that I know of that might cause harm if not followed are those on foods, not those on things like this. Lots of sunscreen has an expiration date too for instance -just means that it may not be as effective after that date, that's all.
