Her lawsuit against the Bush administration has been dismissed. Oh darn!

Now why am I not surprised? A G.W. Bush appointee who worked under Kenneth Starr, and dismissed the GAO's Walker vs. Cheney case? Come on, if that doesn't smack of partisanship, what does?

Right... imagine if the judge would have let it go through. He or she would have been fired. Midterm.

Nothing beats having an "independent, impartial" judiciary!

Here's some history on John D. Bates:

He's been appointed to all of his posts by the Bush administration since 2001.

He throws out the case against Cheney related to turning over his energy committee task force meeting documents:

Yes, I think he is in their pocket.

That's my "take", too. Hence the sarcasm.

The one thing I've noticed about the Bush administration: They are ABOVE the law! They are nothing but a bunch of thugs and violent criminals. They know they can do ANYTHING and break the law in ANY WAY they chose to, and they KNOW they won't have to pay for it. I mean geez when then do a criminal act, they just change the law to make what they've done legal, or they appoint a bunch of judges who are in their pocket who will let them get away with murder (literally). This is the most corrupt administration in history. They give Republicans a BAD NAME.
