Those were the words that came out of my husbands mouth as he was throwing a mud ball at me. At work. On lunch.

Perhaps he's right.

Whoa I think you are a gem for not strangling the man (well not literally but you know what I mean)... There is a time for fun and games, having a mudball slammed at you during work hours might set me off... Ok I know it would. I dont think you were being to serious by rejecting the idea... Men are goofy...

Poor, poor, too serious Heather.

With your strange furcrew, YOU are too serious? I hardly think so - but I do think you've got a very special DH there.
He sounds like a riot.

No he's right. I need to laugh more and care about the mud on my pants less.

Well... yes. I'm just waiting for winter. Snowballs leave less to clean up.

I smell a very playful revenge...don't mention this incident to the boys, though - I'm sure the last thing you need is them plotting revenge FOR you.

[font= "Arial Unicode MS"]I know how you feel.
My boyfriend works ranches, as my Daddy did when I was a kid. I went out to his place one time to help him vaccinate a few calves, and it had rained the day before and was a sloppy mess. I was standing by the chute, vaccination gun (thankfully!) on the barrel we were using for a table for the medicine. Suddenly he comes up behind me and gives me a hearty (later he claimed, "affectionate"
) shove... right. Into. The. Mud. That was the beginning of a memorable mudball fight.

Every now and then you just have to be crazy and insane and spontaneous.

It makes life fun.

I don't think being upset about getting mud thrown at you means you're too serious! I would be unhappy if someone did that to me and trust me I am not serious most of the time...

Yes - he sounds special alright...special needs that is! j/k

That so sound's like something my DH would do, except knowing him it would be the back of my head he aims for!

No matter how old a guy gets there are times when the little 8 year old in him will come out!
