I saw this film for the first time last night. Wouldn't you know that a film made in the 1950's is still very relevant today. I absolutely loved it.

There's a line in it that I've decided to own and use in my daily life.

"There's nothing wrong about being 50 unless you are trying to look 25."

I think I'm going to re-watch it tonight.

This is a great movie. I love Classics. I went on a classic movie kick a few months back. I am glad I did. This one would be in my top five of favorite classics I have seen.

I love that quote. I know a few peole who need to hear it! I don't know that I've seen that movie. I used to watch a lot of classic movies with my Grandparents and some by myself as I got older.

I can't believe I've never seen that one -- have to rent that sometime. And CoolCat, no, it's Gloria Swanson and a very young William Holden...

But oh, if you want to talk about Casablanca... ah, now there's a movie.

I love that movie too. I didn't realize until after I had seen the movie, that Carol Burnett did a parody of it on her show years ago. She was constantly calling for "Max" to be ready for her scenes and her makeup was like Gloria Swanson's, only really exaggerated, she looked like a ghoul. That was a classic skit on a classic.
