To all those who celebrate this holiday!

I'm not sure if it's today - I think it is

I think it's a lovely holiday though I know very little about it yet. Anyone celebrating this? I'd love to learn more.

Isnt that the day when people go to stonehenge and celebrate there? I remember seeing something on TV and it looks like a really fun celebration....I would love to learn more about it too!

The solstice was yesterday. I spilled some wine for the Great Earth Mother and for Mithras and lit some candles to "chase the dark away".

I think some of the more hardy druids brave the cold and welcome the sun at dawn.

Newgrange, in Ireland, is a 5000 year old burial mound, which is lit by the rising sun only for a few days around the winter solstice.
