Confused...

Okay. I have a female kitten who's between 3 and 4 months old. And...Patrick, Pete, and Buddy try to mate with her! Surely she's not in heat. I mean, isn't she too young? If so, why are my boys trying to mate with her?

(I even caught Buddy in the act!)

Um a 4 month old CAN get pregnant, first heats can happen young and may be silent. Are you absolutely positive on her age? Could she be maybe just a few weeks older? Keep her seperate, the last thing you want is a pregnant 4 month old.

Oh..okay...that really sucks. And I'm pretty sure about her age..she might be just a few weeks older. I managed to get Buddy off of her right as he began to mount her, so I probably saved her on that one. I've just gotta figure out some way to keep this one seperated...they're all outdoor kitties, so that's going to be difficult.

As much as they all really need to be inside until they can be altered, at LEAST keep the female in so she doesn't get pregnant. Do you have their appointments set up yet? They are more then plenty old enough.
