Well, the package arrived in the mail today and my cats were circling it when I walked in the door.
I decided to open up the bed first. As predicted, my little Scarlett girl was the first one to make a bee-line to it. It's pink after all and she's the little princess in the house. Stumpy looks on from the side, a little enviously:
Then I open up the bag of Honeysuckle toys. I did the big *crinkle* of the package to get attention (as if I needed it by this time). From left to right: Muddy, Koko, Scarlett, Spanky, Pinky and Sage (you can only see the tip of his tail). And what color does Scarlett make a bee-line for? You guessed it, the pink one!
After a while, they realized there were more of them than there were toys. They were positioning themselves so as one dropped a toy, the other one picked it up. Clockwise from the top left: Dakota, Muddy, Koko, Sage, Spanky and Pinky. Scarlett left to return to her new bed (I think she's claimed it for the house):
Oops, then the wrestling match broke out between Spanky and Sage. Dakota is trying to walk away with one on the left. Muddy is hiding his toy under his body, Koko has one firmly in her mouth, and Pinky walked away from the rucus. Note the old sad toy abandoned in the corner.
Thanks Pat for the wonderful prizes. And for anyone that is looking for some really good toys and beds - go to the Plain Brown Tabby Toys and Treats site!
