You know how I've complained that I never get invited out to lunch. Well today, my pervious boss had called & invited me. So I decided I'd go, but of coarse some work came in and I had to have an 11 AM meeting. They leave for lunch at 11:30. A meeting that should have taken no longer than 15 mins, took 45. So I didn't get to go.
My boss apologized, but the question is when he saw that I wasn't going to get to go why didn't he offer to take the meeting over? It just ticks me off, and apparently it's just not my day.
