94 will take you to 196 heading North. I am 26 miles North on 196. Google South Haven, I'm a hop skip and a jump from there.

Wow... that's not too far at all. Maybe 2 hours from me... I'm in South Bend, IN.

I'll have to see if I can use my brain and find something fun to do closer to the South, if that would work OK for Silly Jilly. Actually South Haven is a cute little town....There are beaches and a place to picnic or something along the channel. you can sight see in the town as well. Just a thought, MI adventure would be fun too but if everyone cannot go we may have to look at other ideas. OH, another one, we have a vineyard by us that we could tour....

Ooooo! I'm all about wine tasting.

However I do like the picnic idea. If I remember right Saugatuck has some cute shops in their little downtown area too. Doesn't Holland have that outlet mall?

We also *might* be in the Coldwater area the first or second week of August. Branch County fair occurs then and B's nephew often shows.

Awe heck it could even snow tomorrow for all we know, this is MI!!!
I think MI Adventure would be a good place lots to do and something for everyone, small things, fast things, lazy river is just floating in a tube! But we'll have to be sure it's ok for the most people!

It's about 10 Miles from the MI/IN Border off of I-69. Anything West of I-69 I haven't been to since I was a kid. So that's a lovely 3 hours Maybe I'll rent a room for the night.

I'm game! My schedule sucks though. I never really know when I'm going to be on call on the weekend, since our O.R. is opening a new open heart program at the end of this month. Right now I have the weekends of August 18th/19th and August 25th/26th open. I'm on call the rest of the other weekends in July and August. My work/call schedule is only made out until 9/2, so that's all I know for sure right now.

I absolutely love Saugatuck. Great place to sight-see and wonderful little shops. I'm pretty centrally located (Midland) so just about anywhere is okay with me. I'll keep checking back to see what everyone decides.

I met KerryV at a cat show a couple of years ago. I think she lives on the east side of the state, somewhere in the thumb area....can't remember exactly.

Hmmmm, how far are you from London?

About 1.5 - 2 hours. I think when you were planning the London meetup I googled it from London and it was somewhere between those times.
