I haven't posted here in a while...
A couple of months ago my old orange kitty started to look ill. I still don't know what happened to him, but he went down really fast- refusing all food, etc...
I went out to the barn one afternoon and he was looking just terrible... So I hugged him for a while and told him it was okay to go....
That night I went back out and he wasn't anywhere in sight. I've looked through the barns, yard, even the bush- he simply isn't here.
His departure is like his arrival 7 years ago- abrupt and final...
I miss my orange fuzzball... He was the ultimate cat- he had the loudest purr I have ever heard in my life.
RIP Astro.... I hope you have met up with your best friend Beatrice somewhere and are at peace at last....
