My cat Julie didn't come out to eat her breakfast this morning, so we searched the house, and my mom finally found her dead. It looks like she fell off the freezer, her favorite spot. My mother thinks she must have had a heart attack or a stroke or something. I'm in shock right now, I just don't know what to do. Last night she was just fine, the same as always. It doesn't seem real.

she had a good, long life, didn't she?
to you - it's hard when it's sudden like that. she probably died in her sleep, & fell off. she's playing like a kitten again, over the Bridge

I am so sorry for your loss,
it must be hard to loose her like that, without warning, my 8 week old kitten died suddenly last night, I still am not sure how so I know how you feel, it dosn't seem real to me either yet, I still expect her to run through the house after our 4 month old kitten.

Right now you are in shock and deep grief...

I really feel for you.

Please know that Julie is already at the Bridge with our babies who were already there.
She is whole and healthy, playing in the tall grass while she waits to be reunited with you one day.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Julie

I'm so very sorry. I think when cats have a long illness, it's easier on us in a way because we have time to absorb it all. It's so hard when they die unexpectedly. You need to try to find some comfort in that it was easier for her this way. She didn't suffer a slow death. My thoughts are with you.

Thanks for all the messages. It was hard to have it be so sudden; but I'm very glad that she didn't have to suffer through a long illness.
