My boys, Kevin and Derek, just love to show off in front of people. They are such hams. Who would have thought that a 2 1/2 year old and a 14 month old would play to a crowd so well.

On Saturday we went out to dinner at the Manderin with my SIL and FIL. I couldn't eat much there due to my gall bladder issues, but that is where everyone wanted to go.

Kevin was in a fine fettle, laughing, giggling looking at the fish in the pond. He sat so well and eat well, making the cutest comments (load enough for everyone around us to hear).

Derek was eating like a champion. He just enjoys his food so much that he is a joy to watch. The lady and her daughter at the next table couldn't keep their eyes off him. Chicken, pork, noodles, vegies, fruit...you name it and he savoured it. His fav however was the chocolate chip cookie I gave his for dessert. He smooshed it and had chocolate all over his head. He was difficult to clean up, but he just made everyone around us night!

Then yesterday we went to a family BBQ for my cousin's b-day. My aunt has a huge backyard and Kevin took her garden hose and was pretending he was a firefighter (without it on). My cousin got a hydration backpack called a Camel for biking. Kevin put it on and was using the mouth piece as an ear thermometre - checking everyone's temp in there ear. He would hold up the mouth piece to the ear - say "bing" and go on to the next person.

Derek was of course showing off with his eating. That kid loves his food. Then they both jumped in the kiddy pool and everyone justed loved watching them joyfully playing.

I had so many people come up to me this weekend and tell me that my kids made their day. That was sweet. It is nice to know I am raising good boys. Kevin always says please, thank you and your welcome. Well, thank you come out more of "bank you", but it is too sweet.

Sometimes it just takes someone else telling you to realize how lucky you have it. I am extremely lucky to have my 2 little men (even when they are bad). I just love them to pieces!

Aww! Of course your raising two good little boys there! The innocence of children can be just so refreshing! I understand why your 2 little hams made so many people's day. I mean who can resist those cute lil faces!

Maybe when I am off after surgery I will size some pics and post them! I suck at doing that, but maybe the DH can help.

It is really difficult to remember what life was like without out them. The only thing I remember clearly was getting a lot more sleep.
