Today is talk to a telemarketer day



ehhh I spoke to one yesterday, so I have had my fill for the week.

It is also Jade's (emrldsky) birthday so Happy Birthday!!

I am volunteering at the shelter today and have a whole day planned, a few hours with each 'part' to see what I like best (cuddle time with the kittens at 9.30 sounds good to me so far) but will be helping with some office work too as they are building their new facility and I know many of the builders and have fundraising experience.

Good Afternoon

The sun is shining its warm.. I couldnt ask for anything more..

My birthday started off well...Scotty gave me cuddles this morning! Then jumped off the bed when Brandon came back from the work out room.

DH let me open ONE present before work ( I wanted to open them all!) and it was a Starbucks cup that holds cold drinks, with a straw.

Today is going to be a GREAT DAY!

Also, thank you Anakat and Icklemiss for the gifts.

Starting Monday off with a back ache. Should go into town today but don't wanna. It's getting humid again and I don't like to sweat.

What a day here at work. We were supposed to start our day off with downloading a new update to our computer program that we do 90% of our work on. Download hasn't worked, therefore we can't work. Techies have been trying to fix it all morning.I have now been here almost 2.5 hours and can't do any work - I have free rein to play on TCS until they fix it!

For some reason Derek did not sleep well last night. He kept waking every 30 to 45 minutes to whine and whimper - so that meant I woke up. I am exhausted. I am thinking about getting my 3rd cup of tea today.

I seem to be catching my DH's lovely cold. My throat is sore and I can't breathe. Oh well. As long as it is gone my my surgery next Tuesday.

Beautiful day here in the Near North, 24 degrees, clear blue skies, nice breeze and no humidity.
Going to take advantage of it later and go for a hike on the fitness trail.

Heading off to work in a bit but my boss is away for the next two days so that means I can enjoy a bit of R&R as well.

Kitties are great, being little brats this morning but in a very cute way.

Linus has decided scaling the drapes is a excellent way to get my attention,

Good thing I like him better then I like the drapes

Good morning everybody. Homey stuff on the chore list today...grocery shopping and things like cleaning out the bottom of my closet. (Did you know shoes can mold? Yep NASTY!) I'm all dressed to get on the treadmill but haven't made it yet. Feeling kinda blah and icky. I have no desire to grocery shop. If I didn't need to pick up my prescription, it couldl all wait till tomorrow. But then Mooch just jumped in my lap, is purrng and meeping quite loudly, and making biscuits on my leg....awww! Just makes everything feel a bit better!
