Daily Thread - ewww its Monday - July 16th

Heh, my dad woke me up at 7:45 this morning (super early for me when it's not a school day...) to tell me that we're going out for breakfast. I slept until 8:15 b/c I figured it'd take Mom a while to get ready. We ate a nice breakfast out, looked for a new recliner, and then went home.
So far my parents and I have been cleaning out cabinets and stuff for an upcoming yard sale/auction thing...fun fun. I'm hoping the rest of the day is better. And less hot.
I feel sorry for my friends who didn't graduate...their band camp started today! They were outside from 8 AM until either 11:30 or 11. My band camp doesn't start until August 19. (one day after my birthday!)

I was about to do stuff before but DH sent me a link for a site where you can Simpsonize yourself. You upload a photo, then it turns it into a Simpsons-like character. I realised I had no photos of me - just kitties.
So I took a couple of head shots in front of a white wall so there'd be plenty of contrast, and the photo wouldn't upload!
So I've been trying to take more photos, and upload them, and it finally got one, but it gave me dark brown hair
So now I'm trying again, and it won't even accept the photo that worked before now... sheesh!

Posting late as Neil has had a toothache that had been getting worse and called the dentist early this morning for an appt. He got in and has some scrip's to get filled and an appt with an endodontist-perhaps a badly cracked tooth-the dentist couldn't really see anything noticable. His jaw is swollen though and went back to work lets see how he feels when he comes home.
So no working for me its been rainy off and on today so I went and finally got the rest of my sis's birthday presents and have about 75% wrapped and will mail the two boxes tomorrow!!

Nah, I think she's feeling under the weather? I take that to mean she has laryngitis, lol.
Ack....my head is throbbing. I am fighting off a nasty sinus cold (thanks DH). That is the last thing I need right now. I have to get over this before my surgery next week.
I'll be logging on late, if at all tomorrow. I have a meeting at Regional Hedquaters so I won't be near a computer most of the day.
Oh...now I feel like I have to throw up....
Gawd! I am not looking forward to the bus ride home!

I think Neet has had too much partying.
Got done with work an hour ago and boy oh boy am I ready for tomorrow off.
I'm sick and tired of stressing over my manager stealing from the company and them asking me questions of where's this money and where's that money. Well how the heck should I know? Call ***** Then you'll find your money. I just wish they'd either catch ***** taking it or ***** would confess then I'd be ok and (hopefully) off the hook. All they have to do is stop by and check the safe. There's money missing and everyone knows ***** took it. It's just that everyone is too afraid to say anything because we all need our jobs and are afraid it'll blow up in our faces. (happened before, just not with this owner)
Neffie Learned how to lick from my finger today. She wanted some cheese from our cheese and shells so I put some on my finger and she licked it off.
She's still not sure of forks or spoons. She's kind of different. Of course none of the girls like to lick off utensils or fingers. Only the boys. It's strange.
Anyway, kind of rainy and hot here. Fortunately we have the a/c on. Other then that, nothing much is happening here. (Does it ever???
