I'm so excited!
I haven't seen my gf (from Dallas) for 3 months and I miss her so much. Now, we're finally going to meet each other next week, outside of US but we hope to have some good time together.

By the way, here's the tricky question, since she doesn't read my posts here, do you think I should buy her a gift?
and if so, what's the best thing to buy for her? I thought about trying broad st (it's the main street here not far away from hillside) and maybe see if there some good stuff, but I think I can't make this decision by my own, so any help would be appreciated.

Hope you have some good suggestions cause' I'm really sucks with it haha

Over the river and through the woods...
I'm so happy for you! Long distance relationships are tough sometimes, but the reunions are great! As for the gift, I think it would be sweet, but seeing you will probably be enough of a gift. What does she like? You said you were meeting her outside the US? Maybe you should go shopping with her and let her pick out something to remember the trip. Of course, you can never go wrong with a nice necklace or earrings. It doesn't have to be expensive, since you picked it out with love.

Thanks for the reply

I already bought her before necklace, and btw she's hispanic, im not, so I thought about something related to soccer because she likes soccer but that's too out of fashion

I really don't know, it's confusing ...

Gifts I really love are the ones that come from the heart. If DH gives me something that I can tell he put a lot of thought into then I'm very happy no matter what it is.

Since she has darker skin (I'm assuming) I bet gold looks great on her. Maybe a little gold bracelet with both your initials engraved on it or something like that?

I'm happy that you two can make the distance relationship work! I am sure it is really hard sometimes waiting for that next meeting. Good luck choosing a gift for her
I'm sure you'll find something that she'll love!

What about meeting her with a dozen roses in hand or flowers that she loves?

That sounds lovely, but I'm not sure I'm good with those "scenes" with flowers, do you think I should give it a shot?

YES, girls *LOVE* flowers!!!!

It's the perfect gift when you haven't seen someone in a long time to make her feel special.

Yes, just one rose is best -- otherwise, you've got to get to the hotel and put the whole expensive bouquet in a vase immediately.

And I agree that getting her something during the trip would be nice -- just watch her when you go into shops and see what catches her eye.

I will say this, though: when a girl is in love, she wants to show the world that somebody cares for her -- so you'll want to give her something she can wear. Jewelry is usually best, but as others have said, it doesn't have to be expensive at all. Just pretty.

I hope you have a wonderful time!

You said that you guys were traveling out of the US? What about looking into buying a pair of tickets to a soccer game wherever it is that you're going... it's a popular sport in the UK, as well as in the Latin countries.

that way you'll have money to buy the tickets, which i also think would be a great idea!
i went to see a BF in orlando, years ago... my flight was canceled, & i ended up getting there hours later than was planned. when i walked into the hobel lobby to check in, he was sitting on the sofa, asleep, with a single rose in his hand
it was so sweet!

We're not going to be in UK but that sounds like a great idea for the future, I really like the idea

I like the idea of maybe a scarf with a Mexican or Spanish flare.

Hope you have a great visit.
