Hello everybody,
I have a red point himalayan. He used to have a totally white body with nose, cheeks, ears, tail and feet being red. He is about 13 months old and a couple of months ago there has been cream/red areas on his body too. Is this normal? Should red point himalayans supposed to have a totally white body with red points?

Welcome, I would love to see pictures!! It is normal for a pointed cat to get darker as he/she ages, this will continue to about 2 years of age. Pointed cats are born all white and the color matures slowly over about a 2 year period. I have found that the climate (temperatures) one is in, will determine the coloring, as well as genetics.
He is 13 months old now, he will become a bit darker in the next year.

Any pointed cat (siamese/himalayan) will get darker on the body as they get older. Some colors hold more of the white coats (red point, chocolate point, lilac point, cream point). If you have a seal or blue point they sometimes get very dark on the body - almost to the point of being a "solid" color.

So its normal for your cat to be less white then when a kitten. The better breedings will have the white coat retained longer.
