Hello everyone,
I apologize for jumping the gun and posting in the health forum first. I know all of you understand though. I am very worried about my cat who fell from the top of the shower chasing a mesquito.

I have two cats and have only had them three months. I had one cat before them that passed away last year. I was so brokenhearted that I thought I'd never get another cat. Well a few months later there they were in the paper. They were sisters so I couldn't find the heart to only take one. So here I am with two cats and one is already hurt. I must be a jinx. I only had my other cat for a year before she died. I cried for two months. I hope this cat will be ok. I decided to make them indoor cats to keep them safe. Well they are both very active cats and go crazy. I am starting to wonder if I made a mistake by keeping them in.

I love animals and if I had the room would have animals of all kinds.
I have two grown kids and one beautiful granddaughter.
Thank you for all of the information. This looks like a great forum.

Thank you for the warm welcomes. I am reading and learning a lot as I consider myself a unexperienced cat owner. The cat I lost last year was so active and had been an outdoor cat before we took her so I let her go out. It did solve some of her excessive energy problem. I have had these two three months and really wanted to keep them indoors if possible but I have to say I am having second thoughts. They are even more energetic than the last cat.
Anyway I am thankful for all of the info here. Have learned a lot already and will continue to read.
Thank you,
