I've just come home feeling tired and emotional. My back is killing, I've had a weird cramp in my lower abdomen and I feel like I want to cry (nothing major wrong, just tired).

Stumpy ran straight up to me, snuggled up to me and sat beside me. I already feel so much better. I honestly don't know where I'd be without my kitties...

I think that every day when I get home from work and PHX greets me with a MEEEEEEEEEEEOW! And of course the head butts that I used to hate, but now I LOOOOOOVE getting head butts!

PHX is my therapist, my best friend, my everything!

OMG ok now I feel like I'm going to cry thinking about how much I love him and what I'd do without him!!
Going to shut up now.

Yes I'd be lost without my kitty!

Oh your so lucky! My RB girl Glory would give them in her later years, but none of my kitties or my Mom's give head butts! I miss head butts! Noodles gives me 'love whacks' but they just aren't the same as headbutts.

My girls are deffinately my sanity sometimes! They are soooo sweet with me being home lately! I don't know how I am ever going to go back to work and leave them all day!

Aw, Sarah, here's a big
I hope you're feeling better today!!!

You know, I adopted Ginger because my bird Alex had passed away in 2005 (he was my little buddy for 17 years, and was quite a character) and I decided it was time for some fur therapy in my life. Feathered friends are incredibly special, but I needed a furbaby.

And less than two years after adopting Ginger, here I sit with THREE cats (well ok, I'm just sitting with two, because Prissy Princess Penny is hogging a whole other room all to herself.
)

They are each so special and unique and they give me so much - they fulfill my instinctive need to nurture, and bring me unadulterated joy.

I share that comfort we all take in our fluffballs' love for us.
Well, ok, their tolerance for us.

Nah, they definitely love us. Bless Noel's heart, I don't know what she'd do if she weren't with me... if something happened to me I think she'd have a very hard time adapting to living with someone else.

Bless their hearts, they keep me sane (when they aren't driving me insane).

I am glad that they made you feel better. The 3rd trimester is so difficult - both physically and emotionally.
