Hi! I've been searching cat forums and this one seems to be the most informative, helpful, and busy!
On sunday my boyfriend and I adopted the cutest 10 week old kitten who's face is two colors

My pictures seem to be too big width wise to post here, so here are the links. I hope this works. He is such a smart kitten and a total snuggler

Such a pretty boy.
Thank you!
We thought so too. We were originally researching getting a russian blue, but then we went and saw him and our hearts melted. We took him home and he was such a conquerer, much unlike the cat a roomate of mine had who hid for a WEEK before leaving a corner of the room we shared. He is just such a joy

Hello! Welcome to TCS! Gotta love a Tortie!
I'm a Tortie Mom. There are 2 dilute Torties with white and 2 regular Torties with white sharing my house.
Tsar looks a lot like my Thalia.
See?

Hello & welcome to TCS. Unfortunately I couldn't see your pics, they didn't come up. If he looks like Thalia, isn't he a girl???????

I wondered the same thing, since most Torties are females.

From what I've read, boy torties are sterile? I don't really know a lot about them, but the woman I got him from said he was a boy, and he had his vet check ups with her so I'm assuming the vet would know. LOL I hope so, becuase he seems to love when we say "good boy"

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome

I'm new to the area, originally from Nevada and I must say, 102 degrees here feels A LOT hotter than the Nevada desert. Its definitely hot enough to justify not going to the grocery store till tomorrow. haha

She's right. Most Torties are females, but the ones that are male generally are sterile, from what I've always heard anyway.

Yeah, definitely don't want to give the poor boy a complex!
