jake just spent some of the money on food. he even bought me one of those little hostess pies(the ones with the fruit filling) but he ate it.
anyway, i'm eating some crackers and my stomach feels almost normal. Heh, this would be the biggest irony of our lives. He's such a sweetheart. he always gets me stuff that he specifically knows i like and he doesn't. wow, i just went through like 5 different emotions centered round the same person within, like, 3 minutes.
. and now i'm tired. i seriously do not have a list of signs of pregnancy or whatever, i am just pretty much typing down what i realize I'm doing. it may be that i am just about to start my period, cause i do have one of those signs, I'm always, *ahem*
"ready to go". which is really frustrating. i hope it is just my period, the pill is supposed to regulate it so i may just be that i don't realize the signs because i have never had a regular period, every single one of the darn things was different except for one detail, the umm readiness.
which i didn't always catch cause i didn't pay attention because i didn't have to for the longest time. i just told jake that the crackers made my stomach feel almost normal and he asked me if i was sure i wasn't pregnant. i told him about this thread and how it should be obvious even to ya'll that i am erratic in my behavior and responses.

Honey, is there a Walmart near you??? Their brand at-home pregnancy tests "Equate" cost about 4dollars.

In a matter of minutes you could have complete peace of mind!!!!!

Here and there
So you've been on birth control pills for the last 3 weeks and you have felt sick for the last 3 weeks? I would try to get the money to go visit Planned Parenthood to make sure everything is okay and talk to a doctor there. You may not be pregnant, but may be having a bad reaction to the birth control pills. When I started taking birth control pills the first kind I was given made me pretty sick. I was nauseous and puking as well. I wasn't sexually active, so it definitely wasn't pregnancy in my case. I switched birth control pills and (after the first type worked its way out of my system) I was much better. Hopefully that is what is going on with you. Good luck!

In my own world, its much nicer there
Ummm, I would like to ask a question, since this is a female topic

The timings between my wifes periods are always 23-25 days, we've been trying to get pregnant for some time now, but between periods and during well you know. She seems to still bleed, its like a pinkish colour fluid unlike blood but it dries and turns brown like blood does, any ideas as to what that might be??
We don't have insurance so for her to go to a Dr and have tests etc will cost far too much $$ beyond our budget, but I want to know if you might think its serious, but I do, except I can't convince her to blow our budget to find out.
This time at the moment between periods, we haven;t noticed it as much.

ILoveMyKitty, even if this isn't the time for you, if you are pregnant, its a blessing and it will work out. If your not pregnant, I hope when the time comes that you are ready, that it does happen for you.
I'm jealous of you even if it is just a false alarm.

Quoted for Truth.

This happens to many women and it's a good chance this may also is your problem.

But if your home test is positive, stop taking your birth control immediately.

Ok my explanation may be a bit graphic, I warn thee.

When you are "you know" (having sex... lol) you may be pushing against her cervix and this causes some blood to leak out, but only a tiny tiny bit so by the time it gets out, it's been through other... ahem "fluids" and is diluted. This happens to A LOT of women. She could also be spotting around the time she ovulates. That has a lot to do with hormones. Many women spot between periods for various hormonal reasons and as long as it's not dark red blood or in a larger quantity, it's not usually reason to worry!

(browner blood is older blood, so that means it takes longer to get out of the body, bright red blood is fresh blood and that should be cause for concern)

Oh man, I know how you are feeling. I stress about that almost every month for the last two years!!!! I know I'm probably crazy because I'm on BC and we are very careful, but you never know!
I know that in the begining I was really stressing and I would really think I was pregnant. I even threw up once because I was so worried about it!!!

Can I recomend something though?? When you get BC don't get the pill if you aren't good at taking pills every day at the same time. It's just crazy to pay for a BC that you can easily mess up, or forget. I know plenty of girls that have messed up on it and that's how they got pregnant. A lot of women think because they skipped it that day they should be careful THAT day. That is soooo wrong. You can easily get pregnant for the next two weeks skipping just one pill, or even just taking it too late on the right day. The patch is out of the question with all the bad things that have come up with it. I use the Nuva Ring and as long as you take it out every three weeks and put it back in a week later you're fine!!! I've been on it for two years and I probably should have been pregnant 15 times by now if it wasn't for that BC. It's so easy and now that it's not so knew it's gone down from $75 to around $30. Also this was the merical BC for me. It MAKES you regular! I can almost plan it down to the hour when it will start and roughly to when it will end. I think this would really help you out to become regular. Also since the hormones go right where they need you are less likely to have symptoms AND antibiotics don't effect it!!!

Good luck!!! Hope you get some relief sometime soon!!!!

today i am feeling much better. i was looking at the papers the chick from PP gave me and one of them said that during the first month most women on the pill feel sick but that it goes away after the body gets used to it. all of the things aside from the sweet cravings only started about 1 week ago, maybe 2. now that i am not freaking out like a crazy person, and i am rationally thinking about it, i realize that all of the things that were happening should have been happening for at least a couple weeks if i were pregnant. and that everything can be explained by, my eating less, the pill(i have taken meds everyday of most of my life, i have no problem taking them everyday, regularly), and getting a period. i feel a little stupid now but other than that i think i was freaking out for no reason. thanks for all of your ideas and stuff. i think i am going to go to PP for a test next week just to be on the safe side but i think i am done. if stuff keeps happening then i will keep adding to the thread, and i will post the results of the test next week to let ya'll know. thanks for helping me past my freaking out.

I didn't realize you had just started taking BCP -- I would have told you not to worry!!! glad you're feeling better about it, but yes, when in doubt, check it out -- get the test.

And EnzoLeya, not to freak you out or anything, but Danica is a Nuvaring baby. I'm really glad you've had a good experience with it (and yeah, I don't like having to remember the pill either) but i can't say I'll be going back to it

yeah, so far nothing is happening. my stomach is better, i am over being sick, and every thing is better. as an aside, I get to keep george. he is on my lap right now. he is getting use to going outside which is good. i have a small blue harness that i put on my other cat before taking her back to my mothers and i put it on george. he was not happy but it is snug and he can't get it off. it is just about as small as it will go but it fits him perfectly. he is getting used to it now. he likes to sleep by my side opposite jake. i think george is growing on jake too, which i think is adorable. anyways. i haven't started bleeding yet but it is only the second day into the period week. i am gonna hold out for a bit to see what happens.

Thanks for the update. Sometimes we worry about stuff that never happens. I've also heard that you need to use a backup when having sex for about a month after starting on BC pills - to be on the safer side.

Best wishes in the future for both of you
