any suggestions appreciated....
Well, they were given to me by a neighbor, she found them in her backyard and since she knows i love cats decided to give them to me.
me and the wife were just too heart broken to say no. We decided to take them in. They are two beautiful grey kittens, male and female.
Both seemed healthy, since earlier that day i had seen a kitten who was pretty sick, eyes full of pus...i try to get away from them and to instruct the rest of the cats to do so aswell.
I hadn't noticed this until i got home, but the female has a HOLE in her neck...as if it had been bitten by something. Looks like it has been there for more than 2 days since it has grey matter coming out. The most i've done is treat it as if it was a human being, by trying to get as much pus out of the hole, cleaning with peroxide oxginated water and a q-tip. Kitten seems to be in alot of pain while doing this, i can just imagine!. I also used rubbing alcohol to desinfect as much as i can. I want to do as much as possible wihtout having to take her to a VET.
I have decided that if things don't improve by this weekend i will take her to the humane society, they would treat her better or put her to sleep if necessary.
Oh, i know i wasn't supposed to but i just couldn't let them be wihtout a hot bath and flea shampoo....they smell so good now!!!
i will update with pics
