any suggestions appreciated....

Well, they were given to me by a neighbor, she found them in her backyard and since she knows i love cats decided to give them to me.

me and the wife were just too heart broken to say no. We decided to take them in. They are two beautiful grey kittens, male and female.

Both seemed healthy, since earlier that day i had seen a kitten who was pretty sick, eyes full of pus...i try to get away from them and to instruct the rest of the cats to do so aswell.

I hadn't noticed this until i got home, but the female has a HOLE in her neck...as if it had been bitten by something. Looks like it has been there for more than 2 days since it has grey matter coming out. The most i've done is treat it as if it was a human being, by trying to get as much pus out of the hole, cleaning with peroxide oxginated water and a q-tip. Kitten seems to be in alot of pain while doing this, i can just imagine!. I also used rubbing alcohol to desinfect as much as i can. I want to do as much as possible wihtout having to take her to a VET.

I have decided that if things don't improve by this weekend i will take her to the humane society, they would treat her better or put her to sleep if necessary.

Oh, i know i wasn't supposed to but i just couldn't let them be wihtout a hot bath and flea shampoo....they smell so good now!!!

i will update with pics

the neighbor who brought it has a guy living there who is just an #$%#@$ @$$hole....reason why i moved over the weekend.

he could've had done soemthing like that....i can believe that!

he hates the other neighborhood cats as well...

I would say it was a blow fly.

There was a similar problem with a cat a few weeks back and when he took the cat to the vet, the vet told him that it was a blow fly.

Is there a exit wound? If it was a BB gun there would either be an exit wound or the BB would still but inside of the cat.

it could be any number of things, but a vet really does need to check them both over and get that seen to, she will probley need a course of antibiotics.

thing is that i don't have much money right now.
the infection is still there even tho i cleaned it super good yesterday...
is all grey....i'm so sad! :censor::censor::censor:, whatever it is there is no exit wound or BB inside.

kitten walks normal, is able to eat, pee but no poo yet...
i'm feeding them out of a bottle of milk...so much fun!

anyways, i'll have pics as soon as i find my camera

I think the best would be to take them to the humane society if you don't have enough money to assure it has proper care. Emergencies arise with animals when least expected and as responsible pet owners we should have money set aside for such issues. What if something else goes wrong? An infection NEEDS antibiotics. Please don't let the little guys suffer any further. It sounds as if you love them very much, it may be hard to do, but giving them up to the Humane Society will give them a chance to recover properly and be adopted by someone who can afford to care for them.
I hope you do whats best for your kitties, I would hate to hear the situation worsen

i have decided to keep only one of the cats.
the healthy one...
i will be taking the other one to the human society this weekend...hopefuly they wont kill her but instead help her...i've heard horros stories about that place...it scares me straight!

they've been with me for only two days but i love them...i've already had cats before with the exact same age..about 3 weeks old....it's so fun to watch them grow into mature adults and seeing how their minds start chaning and being more mature...

we'll see...but definately one of them is going..
