A call for your rescue stories!

Several months ago, Anne posted a thread (http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...threadid=11240), about the rescue of a cat named Samoa. As a result of this story, Laurie (LDG) and I have started a new website to educate and inspire people about the plight of stray, abandoned and feral animals.

This site would not have come about if it wasn't for TCS. We would like to post any stories about rescue animals you have shared your life with. Pictures are also gladly accepted and encouraged. Send them to:

Please pass this on to your friends who may also have stories to share. I have to say, this shows the power of the 'Net, and what people who care can do together!

BTW - it just occured to me that we should include happy foster stories too - especially if you know the kitties went to furrever homes. Fostering is SO important to the rescue process!!!!!!

Heidi - it's purrfect! It's up, as is Ferdy's rescue story. Tiggeytoes let us use her essay winning story, and, for those in need of a good cry, Dunkin's story is up, too.
