Thankyou hon! I hope so too.

I am going to call the shelter in a few minutes before they close (i'm off today) and see if he's got a home yet or not.

Oh I'm sorry Nikki
But don't forget, he's more likely to get a home if he's at the shelter where people can see his handsome face. I know how hard it is knowing they're at the shelter, but maybe see if they can let you just take him home at nights, or on the days they're closed?

I'm sorry you can't keep him, but you know Nikki, you've got final say. He will find the right home.

(and keep doing that until he finds a home at least. i figure he can stay there while i'm at work during the day with me and just come home with us at night if need be. i'm REALLY trying to convience Colin we need to adopt him though....can we get some (((colin let nikki keep norris vibes)))

Any change today?

Come on people!! Where is Norris' forever family?

Nikki - they are out there...just give it a bit of time. It is a good thing people aren't rushing in. This hopefully means that they are aware that he is a special needs dog and hopefully interested parties will sit down and discuss their ability to take care of him responsibly.

Please keep us informed!

Oh gosh -- Nikki, I didn't quite realize that you really did want to keep Norris and Colin was the obstacle! In that case...

I remember you saying something at one point to the effect that now was not the right time for another dog. But now is when Norris is here!

Sometimes it's right to say no, sometimes the issues are insurmountable. But you can't give up someone you love just because he's arrived at an inconvenient time. After all you and Norris have been through together, all the bonds you and he and your other animals have built... I'm afraid you'll always regret letting him go. And from what you've told us of Colin, I think he could be made to understand that. Certainly he loves you enough to try.

I haven't want to say it because I thought it would upset you, but now I'm saying it: I think you should just go get Norris and bring him home.

But don't forget - the more animals she adopts, the less she can foster!! And as wonderful as Norris is, it might mean a whole heap of other wonderful animals can't be fostered.

Someone WILL come along and see him for who he is - and Nikki gets final say, which is awesome

Maybe today will be Norris's big day. I'm sending lots of

his way for the perfect home (which may be yours).

thankyou everyone for being soo sweet and sending those vibes norris' way. he still needs them. sorry i haven't updated recently. today was a VERY long day. Norris still has not found that wonderful forever home we were hoping for yet. Nobody has even looked at him
I'm really upset over that....he's just the best little dog too! I took him home with me last night to get out of the shelter so that he could just come back to our house and chill out for a bit. I took him back to work with me this morning but still no luck. He is at the shelter just for tonight (long day today- not him, just everything else.) I just need a night to chill out for a moment. Tomorrow night i will take him back home with me though to get him back out of the shelter. I think i will just take him back and forth to work/home with me until he finds the right home. I really to want to keep him....and it's breaking my heart....so we're just going to see for right now- it may be too hard for me to keep taking him home every night only to bring him back during the day (Colin pointed that out earlier...and as much as it stinks- he's absolutely right- i'm getting really attached to the little guy. So tonight i'm taking a "break" he's up at the shelter in a really nice cage with his toys/foods/ and the office radio on- so he's ok for the night. I will take him back home with me tomorrow- i hate to leave him there

Keep you fingers crossed he finds a great home soon you guys. This is the first time our "dog of the week" has not gone home the same day as the radio spot airing. I don't really know what to think about it.

I'm sorry the right person hasn't come along yet.
Keep your chin up, I'm sure this is just one of those things where the right time has to come first and what not.
