Ohhhh man!! My neighbour came over and said a friend of hers was watching the 5pm news and saw me on it (we had a picnic with them once). We usually tape it, and watch it when we get home, but we're taping the 6pm news instead, so I missed it! Hopefully I'll catch it on the 6pm news - it'll be in the second half, so at least 15 minutes to go.

I'm so excited... heheeh

Oh mannnn!!!! The one line I didn't want them to put in is the only line they used.... Not only that but the way I said it I sound like a complete airhead. How embarrassing.

But Smudge and Stumpy both got on the news though! Woohoo! DH is trying to cut that bit of video out now.

What was it that you said?

I said the spay and neuter bill was like seatbelt laws - that it was largely unenforceable, but it made people really think about it, or something stupid like that. I can't believe I said spay and neutering was like wearing a seatbelt.

I don't think that it is a bad analogy. It is good behavior but people don't always do it.

Too late I spoke to them for about 10 minutes, and said some decent things, and they used about 3 seconds of the stupidest thing I said.

DH is trying to pull apart the stream still. He's pulled the stuff before the story out, he's trying to figure out how to delete the bits after the story.
