Hi

Thanks to those who gave their advice and comfort. I read that if you put vanilla under their chins and tails they will get along better. Any thoughts or new ideas.

Thanks Barbie

I read your other post. I think it is part of the weaning for the mom to push the kitten away. She does not want the kitten trying to suckle. I know it is 11months later but this is what mom cats frequently do.

You can use Feliway spray in the room where they are, or rub them with a blanket and rub the blanket on each other. In a very short while they will become familiar with each others' scent.

If you play with both of them together and give them treats when they are near each other, they will associate each other with positive things and it will make their new relationship easier.

I don't have experience with the vanilla thing but I hope this helps.
Good luck with your kitties
