We got a new cat-- and to make a long story short last week or a little over aweek she got her front claws out. She has patches of fur missing all over her body and we thought she got into fights ( she was a stray) but I realized today that she has been chewing her skin-- everywhere! Especially inbetween her front toes-- she pulls out the skin and fur. It worries me. Is this normal? what should I do?

A bit more details would help us give any advice or suggestions, like how old, how long have you had her, was she missing fur spots prior to you taking her in, has she had a full vet check? I can tell you one thing though, declawing is considered very inhumane and not approved of here, you may get some harsh responses. whats done is done though, and the best interest is to help you and your kitty out at this point.
