Update to my kitten med post...

well, looks like the lil bugger sprained his foot. i was given .15 of Burpenorphine to give him 1x daily for 3 days. hes sleeping now, poor lil man .

I couldnt take it any longer. He was crying walking, and would cry if he moved wrong, so i HAD to take him in. SOOO GLAD i have the Care Credit. Money was tight this week.

poor little mite. at least you got something for his pain now.

hes REALLY lethargic now, i dunno from pain meds or what. but hes still cries if yo pick him up wrong, but its only been 24 hours. he has 2 more days of pain meds, then back to the vet for xrays if not better.

does pain make their lil hearts beat really fast too?

i would call a vets as iv never given pain meds to such a small kitten. it might make them sleep a bit more but not lethargic, call a vet asap and see what they say. update when you know something , hope his ok.

i called. they said that he would sleep alot more, and be lethargic, as if we a adults took a heavy duty pain killer. once he dosent have a dose for about 24 hours he should be back to normal.

His last dose it today Im glad hes lethargic, cause that keeps him quiet and off that lil paw,lol.
