Thank you gifts for mom & lil sis?

What can I get for thank you gifts that aren't going to be hated? I'm headed on vacation tomorrow....mom & lil sis are medicating all the cats, feeding, scooping, the whole works. Normally, I do everything. You should see the list, I feel so terrible leaving them with all this stuff to do.

Cat & Dog Care Schedule

Damita
-prednisone Tuesday AM (2 pills) & Thursday AM (1 ½ pills)
-small amount of wet food 1-2x a day---“Damita only wetâ€
-change water bowl & wash 1x a day

Twitch & Lily
-wet food 2x a day---“Twitch & Lily wetâ€
-dry free fed

Upstairs Trio
-Scoop litter pans 2x a day, AM & PM—put in baggie by LB, scoop there too…put in garage dump right into kitty litter tub out there

Ophelia Rose
-Buspar 1 ½ pills 2x a day

Dorian Grey
-Neomycin drops in weepy eye (his left eye) 3x a day

Downstairs Trio
-Scoop litter pans 2x a day, tub with supplies in family room
-dry food free fed, MAX cat orange bag, 1 scoop each bowl when empty
-three water bowls in family room, monitor water levels & clean/refill

PJ & Punky
-eye drops 3-4x a day, KEEP REFRIGERATED
-wet food as needed to catch them for meds, only give 1 spoonful at a time---“any type of wetâ€

Macey & Coco
-1 cup each dry food 2x a day
-1 capsule in dry food 1x a day
-Check water 2x a day, empty/wash/refill in the PM

Damita & Doryâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s meds are on top of the microwave. Opheliaâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s Buspar is in a green weekly pill thing on my dresser (or on my floor, depending if P Boys knocked it off).

Dory can go into my bedroom with the P Boys when he wants; donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t leave him in there all the time. Make sure heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s in there are night so they have someone to cuddle with.

Litter pans…1 upstairs…..1 in my bedroom…..3 in family room, behind chair by TV, between TV & gerbil, & by daybed.

Also…feed the gerbil a small handful of food in the evening (heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s nocturnal) & feed the fish a pinch of flakes in the evening…fish food is on the floor in a yellow container.

I have to get them something for all they are doing....lil sis is 16 & a brat. What do I get them? Something from like the zoo? Can I get some dumb gift for lil sis....is she too old for stuffed animals? I don't know her very well & I live with her.

Well do they collect anything in your budget range???

I don't really have any gift ideas. Maybe something touristy, but not tacky?

for the 16 year old, i think a gift card to her fave place would be easier, then trying to rack your brain for a vacation gift.

mom should be easier, they love lil gifts from the heart, dosent have to be vacation gifts either.

Mom used to collect things, but the cats kept breaking her collections so she quit collecting. Neither really collect anything anymore....maybe a Hot Topic gift certificate then for lil sis?

Maybe a gift card would be best for your sister- and for your mom- does she like hanging plants or anything like that for outside this summer?

She likes plants, but already has a zillion....she buys the ones she wants I always get the wrong thing. Maybe a T shirt will work for mom!

Definately the gift card for your sister. That would be what a 16 year old would appreciate most.

For you mom - just look around while you are on holidays. Hopefully you will find something that just screams her name (maybe something with cats on it).

Where are you going again?

Twin Cities area...hitting up a couple of pet stores, visiting a Humane Society the HS here works with, going to the zoo, shopping for work clothes, jeans, shirts....and of course, swimming in the hotel pool!

I reckon gift cards for somewhere they like to eat.

Does you mom drink coffee-perhaps some nicer kind that she usually has.
