I am trying find a website via Google that shows an age or weight and total amount of food to feed a cat/kitten. Most tell you how, what type, when, etc. But, for example, I feed my small 9lb dog 1 cup per day, and compensate accordingly if he is given a training session (so that he does not get his cup plus multiple treats).

I don't think it's possible to come up with more than a very rough estimate of an average amount for an average cat as foods vary in their calorie content etc. and obviously cats vary in size, activity level etc. You'll need to feed a lot less of the premium foods than you do the poorer quality foods. It's pretty much trial and error, imo. Most food manufacturers print feeding guidelines on the packet but I find these to be an over-estimate most of the time.

Every cat is so different, that is why there is not chart. Can't tell you much of anything until you asnwer those questions!
