When I got Spot spayed, 7 years ago, the area where they shaved her belly for the surgery never grew any fur back. To this day, she has a furless belly.

I'm not concerned about it, just curious as to why this might have happened. Anyone seen this happen before?

I had Princess spayed almost 12 years ago and her fur never grew back either. I asked the vet about it once and she couldn't really say why either.

Wow, really? It's still "bald"..or is it a little fuzzy? I ask because 3 of my girls were spayed in January and the "haircut" line is still pretty obvious on Pixel. Some of the hair slowly came back but I can't tell if it stopped growing in or not. I figured it was just coming back very slowly but now I wonder.

Ling had to be "spayed" twice and there are two spots on her belly that never grew the fur in completely. Its a bit fuzzy but looks bare compared to the rest of the fur.

Interesting...I didn't realize it happens that frequently! I think she has a little fuzz, but it's mostly just big fat kitty belly (which of course, is still cute).
