Thats right Yesterday I went to my cousins first birthday and they had a kitten - a stray that adopted them had 4 - we originally asked for one but they forgot.. however yesterday we went they had the kitten but it was going to be taken we said if they guy who was going to get it didn't show up we would take him - we considered taking the stray - who looks just like George but we decided George might get her knickers in a twist if we did. So I get a call and hour ago saying the guy didn't show up and we can take him if we want - We say yes of course!
We are heading out to get him shortly - I haven't seen him yet because he was hiding but apparently he is a tabby very exciting. He is about 8 weeks and his name is Thomas but we are probably going to change it. Lets hope he gets on with my big/baby girl !

Ok I best be off and get my baby- Wish me luck!

Thanks all he is here and been here for about 5 hours. Georgi isnt as a good a big sister as I expected but she is getting better I think we introduced them too quickly. He is an absolute stunner he is a tabby with a a couple of reddish streaks up his back he has the biggest eyes - they aren't so big looking in the photos but they are! He is cruiser didn't meow once on the trip home or complain once he got here just explored until George had a few goes at him.
I am a little upset because George seems upset at me for bringing him home she is growling at everyone which is a bit sad. She is just following him everywhere right now she hasnt swiped at him though I guess thats a good sign?
some pictures of the little man its not the best quality because the
camera is on the blitz but its not too bad

He's adorable...You should probably separate Georgie and the new kitten, it's too much to introduce them so quickly, they will have a better relationship if you do the introductions slowly.

Yeah, he's a cutie alright!
Have you picked a new name yet?

I agree with Bella713 - give them some separate space and take it slow with the intros. I'd give George some extra attention too so she doesn't get left out in the excitement over the new kitten.

Aww he looks just precious. Your girl and him will eventually be the best of buddies, it just takes some time. Congratulations.!

You'll need to take it slow, and make sure the little cutie has had a complete vet check (been wormed, etc) before he gets too much contact with your girl.

There's always some growling and posing when you introduce a new one, go slow and you'll set a good tone for their life together

Congrats! he's darling

Thanks for your advice - I separated them yesterday until around 4pm when Georgi who I thought was asleep escaped from the room she was in but I was shocked when she went to sleep about 30cm away from him and it kept getting better from there- there is still some hissing and growling and they are anything but best friends but there has been some sorta playing and they have been giving each other friendlyish bops on the head - hopefully by tonight there wont be any hissing.

Oh and his name is Tigger - its not my first pick but I kept going to call him that and everyone else liked it so.. we have a Tigger
