Mitties loves to have her picture taken. She is always posing and holds that pose until I get my camera and take a pic! She's so darn cute.... my baby girl! I love big kitties too but for her health's sake, we're trying to get her to lose. Not easy to do because, as you can see, all she likes to do is lie around!

She hates being picked up but will tolerate it. But she will absolutely NOT sit on my lap no matter what! I wish she would though! She does, however, loved to have her belly rubbed!

Hmmmm. That's something to consider. She certainly loves wet food and it takes her longer to eat, I'll give it a whirl! It will probably help with her constipation too!
My cat Samantha is the same way, she will meow if you pick her up and hop right down if you put her in your lap.
She does love to show off her belly and just loves belly rubs too.
The most Samantha ever weighed was 14 1/2 lbs, now she is down between 12 and 13 lbs which is a good weight for her considering she is 19 years old.
Please give Mitties a nice bellyrub from me.
She looks very cuddly. Good luck with her diet - it's going to take quite a while to get her weight down.
