Hello,
sorry to be such a pest and post two threads, but I have an important question. It is coming night and am afraid the ear plug is going to resurface in my cat's throat. Due to horrible financial matters, I would truly hope I could help her pass it. Any suggestions.. If this earplug began to try and be vomitted out, how could I help my cat successfully get it out? Thank you!!

Really, you should take her to the vet-right now, if it were me I would give her a ton of hairball medicine to lube her throat and hopefully keep it down-and go straight to the vet. At the vet they would xray, and according to what they find, might would induce vomitting.

Over the river and through the woods...
You can also try mineral oil if you don't have any hairball medicine. I actually use it for hairball medicine because my cats don't like the taste (I don't know why...I think it smells tasty). I usually use a syringe, but if you don't have one you can try to pour a spoon into her mouth. I've even put it on my cats paws if they are being really stubborn...they still lick it off.
