They have a legal limit of 0.02 for minors? Shouldn't it be like nothing?

Also, where the *BEEP* are the parents?

I've been perusing the comments people made and some asked that. One person said in his state there is a BAC for regular drivers, one for truckers and one for minors. I can see that, but most of those minors are more like 16 and up!

This just shows that if you're going to have alcohol in the house with children LOCK THE ALCOHOL UP!!!!

I've known WAAAAAYYYY too many people that have been drinking since they were 11/12 (including my fiance).

From what I remember on the news, they said they contacted the family, and they knew she was picking up her sister from a concert, so they knew she was driving. Whether they knew she was drinking or not, I don't know. But, any family that lets an 11 yr old drive to another town to pick up her sister probably wouldn't care if she's been drinking. I could understand if it was a rural road, but from the looks of it she was on an interstate, or highway at least!

That poor kid! She really needs someone to care. This is only the tip of the iceberg. If the parents allow drinking and driving, what else is going on?
