I know there are little ant traps you can put around that are safe for animals I have no clue what the name is though.
Is Trout trying to kill them? Lucia is the ant killer in this house

Are regular ant traps safe for cats? Or is it special ones I have to get? Trout will play with the ant trap for sure

They are so small, she hasn't noticed them yet
(The ants I mean)

I have used the ant traps in the past and Misty never bothered with them. I would just go to Petco or Petsmart and ask if they have anything that would help.

They'll have something on the packaging that says if they're safe for pets. If its not, the packaging will tell you.

Anyways though we got these little ant traps with stakes attached so we stick them up high...well yea, where the kitties can't get them.
