does this mean she will go tonight?

I was able to get milk right away when I tried just a minute ago, off my cat. She's been sleeping all day today too, just laying around and ONLY getting up to eat and drink or to change to a different position!

Should I be really watching her?? We're supposed to be leaving at 5am tomorrow for our horse show, and I will be staying home if she gives birth/will be giving birth.

Sounds like she's getting close, but it could still be a few more days. Lady, my last foster momma, had milk for almost a week before she delivered. Does Gracie have a lot of discharge yet?

no I haven't SEEN any discharge yet, but she's been licking her privates a lot and is acting way different. She's also been purring randomly when nobody is near her.

she's had quite the bag on her for quite some time now, but this is the first day I've been able to get milk from her

With all three of my girls, I ended up changing all my plans to sit at home and watch them because I was positive they were going to have them... and they did nothing until I wasn't waiting, LOL.

spiteful little kitties hahah

I'm not sure about her, so I guess I'll wait it out!

oh, another question!

I heard you can put cocoa butter on their nipples if they seem crusty, and hers are crusty..is it okay for me to do that now, if she may have the babies tonight? the cocoa butter will be dried up/gone by that time, right? or will it affect the kittens nursing abilities/make them sick?

If she hasn't had the kittens yet, put vegetable oil on the nipples - not cocoa butter - the oil is a lot safer.
