some vets have been on course's to do with early spaying/neutering
some vets will do this at 8 weeks some will wait till 12 weeks. it depends on weight and with males as soon as their *balls* are seen. this is fantastic news
i know of one rescue who is doing this called the RSPCA i dont care for them much but there vet services are great, and at the moment they are doing like a deal.
for males...
£20.00 will cover.
both set of shots
neutering by 12 weeks old.
and chipping.

for females its..
£40.00 will cover
both sets of shots.
spaying by 12 weeks depending on weight.
and chipping.

some of the priviate vets have gone on this course also (not mine as yet) but it will be soon. but because we do come under a sort of low wage i can get it done under the RSPCA if i wanted but i would pay extra which is still great at least i can have all mine done in a few weeks once they are all healthy.

That's great they are spaying and neutering earlier!

This is a pretty good deal if the shots and chip are included.

Daphne's spay cost me around $95US including collar and meds. Paid seperately for shots and chip. This was at a low cost clinic

There is also an organisation called CHAT in some areas, offers neutering etc to people on low wages, although i'm unsure yet, of any costs etc
