South Lousiania - Persian in Need

Oh I am so mad. Whay a crappy person, declawing their cat then dumping it in a kill shelter. I am too far to help but thought I'd spread the word...

This was in an email I received. If anyone is in the area (South Louisianna) and would like to help please e-mail directly the address below. I would hate to see sucha beauty in a Kill Shelter.

Okay for all you cat people out there. An owner will be surrendering her white, spayed female, declawed persian cat on Wednesday to our local kill shelter.

I would like to find a place for this cat to go so I can pull it the same day.

I could if there is any way that I can meet this person half way to North Carolina (I am in western NC) and I would be willing to get it. But I need to know if the shots are up to date and health is okay?

Kiwi, there is an email address, but I think that lady is from the "kill" shelter who is trying to place the cat before it gets there. I'd write to her and get the details! Perhaps she would ship it, if you paid the cost. You have a good heart.

How much does shipping typically cost?
I have emailed this person and asked them some questions.

I just got a reply from this person and they told me that this cat has found a home. THank goodness! I was worried about it.
