I wanted to make something for Memo to try and get him to put on a little weight. He has been eating can food very well along with his dry food that I mixed in each feeding I also added some Tuna to the last one and he loved it.

What types of meat could I feed him that would help put on a little weight. How should I prepare it, I know I can't use spices or salts.

Boiled chicken is always good for cats - but I dont know if this would help him put weight on - how is his health otherwise ?

maybe thats just his body type - if he's an active cat his weight will be stabalised and I supposed you don't want him to be overweight either

have we seen any photos of the little fella yet

Boiled chicken breast, stew meat, all cut in bite size pieces
Personally I'd stay away from the tuna fish. If you want to give fish, give the kind you'd fry up - like salmon steaks, talipia (ours love that - even the dog), perch, etc.

If your sole aim is to have him gain some weight, try feeding him kitten food for awhile.

Can you afford higher quality??

see higher quality often has more protein and fat
