I didn't get out to see the fireworks so I found out I can watch them on channel 5's (in Cleveland) website! They are on live on TV but Trav won't watch them on TV. He says its not the same....and it's not but I LOVE fireworks! SOOOOOO I have my lights out and the screen is up to full screen and I am so enjoying myself

Did anyone go see them tonight?

They're going to start here in about 15 min. We have to stay home with our dog since he is afraid of fireworks/thunderstorms. We'll be watching them from our house and can catch a glimpse of them.

Oh my gosh I know! I LOVE sparklers! I haven't been to fireworks in 2 years but I catch them at the Indians games now and then and theirs are pretty good. These have been on since 9pm here though in downtown so now I wish I went

We caught the towns Canada day fireworks on sunday. They're in a park right down the street from our building, so we just went out front. Last year, before we moved to a 2 bdrm, we lived on the other side of the building and we could watch them from our balcony! That was pretty cool.

I think ours were cancelled due to the tornado watch. Haven't heard anything and we live pretty close to where they have them. We weren't planning to go anyway. I feel bad for the kids around here though!

I bought my own on Sunday for Canada Day. I live right beside a park so there is always people setting them off there.

The park where we had our evening picnic had theirs Tuesday night but on the way home we were able to watch many, many private aerial displays - in between Mother Nature's own bright displays.
Lots of lightning and as we got a half mile from home, I had to pull over because the rain was coming down very hard. Even the vehicle behind me pull over!

The rain has stopped but the neighbors are setting theirs off and I should be able to see them from our air conditioned kitchen.

(Kitties are fine. Topaz is asleep and Ari is by me in the "meatloaf" position.)
