It's good to know he's back to normal!
Apparently he is a superhero who's secret identity lulls the unsuspecting into thinking that he is ordinary by the amount of farts he gives!

Hummm... a cape. I wonder if he'd like that.

My friend's male cat loves dressing up. He has halloween outfits and outfits for other ocassions. The female cat stays clear when Boots gets dressed up in case her meowmy decides to dress her up also

Thank goodness for that crazy cat! But this is too scary to risk again -- why don't you get some kind of little countertop cabinet to keep your medicines in, something your husband can't accidentally put his medicine into? And you could also wrap a pipecleaner around the necks of your medicine bottles, so if you pick up a bottle that doesn't have that, you'll know to stop and check what you're taking. (Pipecleaners are nice because even if you aren't looking, you'll feel them.)

Sharing a house with my parents, who are in their 80s, I have to be very alert to these things... the three of us take a total of 22 different medicines every day!

Special hugs to 8-bit...

That is too funny!
8-bit is a smart boy! Glad he was around to tell you otherwise. All your boys are awesome even though they may cause chaos once in a while.

Is there anyplace you could just put your medication? That is too scary to risk again. My mom is allergic too many antibiotics so I have seen the tramatic effects of a severe allergic reaction.

8-bit, you deserve some extra bananas!!

Glad to hear you're okay - that pipe cleaner idea sounds like a good one.

I was thinking that, too. My brother was deathly allergic to some medicines (penicillin, for example), so my mom always marked any kind of pill bottle with stuff he was allergic to with a thick coat of bright nail polish. Pipecleaners are a great idea.

8-Bit, your mom owes you big time!

CarolPetunia & jcat are right
Why risk it? Maybe your husband can keep his pills somewhere else or put the whole bottle in a ziploc baggie or the whole bottle inside a larger jar or something to make its appearance & the whole routine of getting the pill out of the container COMPLETELY UNLIKE your meds & your own routine. Or try a daily pill-minder device (pillbox) -- load up your own pills a week or so at a time, dep. on the pillbox. That way you won't reach for the wrong bottle. If you need, just make a diagram of your pills, if you have trouble keeping track of generics. Here are a bunch of diff types on drugstore.com: http://www.drugstore.com/search/sear...&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

Thank goodness you are alright! And btw, did 8-bit get any special treats?
He might be deserving a weeklong treat-on-demand service!!

That is amazing!

Peedoodle did the same for me a few years ago - we were having problems with our neighbours as she had invited 8 people to come and live with her in a 2 bedroom duplex. After I complained to the landlord about the ex husband doing stuff there, he turned nasty. The last straw was him backing his car to our open window (it was summer) and leaving it running while going back to bed - it was 6am when Peedoodle woke me up, he was doing what he normally does sort of like clawing at me but unfortunately he is declawed (not by me), but frenzied and this woke me up and I smelled the fumes from the car.

I should have called the police.

That's a great idea! I'll do that from now on.

I just gave 8-Bit a mixed green salad (he loves leafy green things of all sorts).

I am so touched by this kitty. He's helped me more than anyone will ever know. There are days where my depression gets the best of me, but he's always there to get me up and keep me moving. He makes me laugh and smile almost every day. You have no idea what that is like for someone who just goes through periods of darkness.

Heather, some of us do understand.

8-Bit is one very, VERY special little guy, and while his antics always keep you and us laughing, he proved today that he truly is an angel wrapped in grey fur and mischievousness. He really loves his Meowmy too.

There are many times when the girls will bring me out of the worst funk. They are truly special beings.

I know exactly how you feel. There are days I feel are so miserable and lonely that nothing really matters to me. All I have are my parents, few friends who I hardly hear from, and no siblings. But then, come home and see Lexi and it warms my heart to know that I have a purpose in life. They will always love you, even when you may hate yourself.
You have done a wonderful job with your boys. They can make you laugh and cry. They change your life forever, go through the same rough times you do, and never judge you.

Way to go 8-Bit!!

All those naughty things he does doesn't even compare to helping his Meowmy when she needed him

What a great kitty! (I think we need a photo
)
