But I had a dream that I fixed it and tried the "fix" this morning and it worked!!!!
So I avoided having to go out and spend money that I don't have on a new vacuum cleaner.

It had shut off by itself yesterday and wouldn't turn back on. Last night I dreamed that I pressed a button and it fixed it. I looked at the vacuum today and saw a button and pressed it, and the vacuum worked again. Seems it has a safety switch when it over heats and you have to reset it to get it to work again. In all of the years I've had this vacuum I've never had it turn off on its own before so I had no reason to look for such a button.

I wish. But it's not in my budget and I can't afford to accumulate anymore debt than I already have. So if this one breaks I will have to look into a cheap used one. I do know that with black furniture, 2 cats and allergies that I need a vacuum cleaner! Being without one is not an option.
