One NEVER leaves a child in a vehicle. Within 5-10 minutes, the temperature inside the vehicle will raise by about 20
degrees. On that day, the OUTSIDE temp was 106 and the temp in the vehicle was 126
. At those temperatures, even a full-grown ADULT will dehydrate, go into convulsions, suffer brain damage or DIE. The difference: when the adult feels too hot or ill, SHE/HE can get out of the car and move to a cooler spot - a BABY doesn't have that option.
