I'm a little worried about my cat Nova, he does throw up quite a lot, but I put that down to the fact that he eats too much and doesn't know his limits! Before you would be able to see bits of whatever food he had eaten that day, but for the past 3-4 times that he has been sick (he is sick approx. once a week/fortnight), it has been a solid wedge, not unlike you'd expect to find in his litterbox!

I have taken a pic but the squeamish might not want to click it.

I'm just a little worried in case he has an infection, or something else. He seems fine, and literally 30 seconds after throwing up he is bouncing around being his usual self.

SQUEAMISH WARNING - cat sick pics!

Any advise would be appreciated!

It looks like a hairball to me. You could try giving him a hairball remedy or treats and see if that helps him. I hope that's all it is. And welcome to the Cat Site! I'm sure others will be along soon to offer their ideas.

Thank you very much for your suggestions. I didn't expect a hairball to come out like that! I groomed both my cats yesterday and so I'll monitor how he is.
