2nd interview question

So I have a second interview for a job I really want, tomorrow.

My question is, do I send out another thank you letter after that interview? I sent one out after my first interview last week.

It just seems like a 2nd would be over-kill.

What's the protocol?

I have never had a 2nd interview for a job I was interested in. However, always after my inital interview, I have sent out a thank you letter and I think that a second would be overkill.

Is it with the exact same people?

Yes it is.

The message I got was that it was a "short interview" with the same peeps.

I am pretty excited about it all. I have been waiting for this moment for almost 2 years. I don't want to do anything to fudge it up.

A second interview is a good sign that they are interested in you.

Since you sent out a thank you note for the first interview a second would not be neccessary.

I would just thank them verbally when you leave the second one

It would be overkill - just thank them for the opportunity for the 2nd interview before it starts and when you leave say something like " I would really look forward to working with you".

Well that was just nuts! They got the whole office staff to interview me.

I had 8 different people asking me questions.

That was nerve wracking!

They said it was down to 2 people. I hope I get it.

Well you got a very good chance. I cant even imagine 2 interviews 1 for me was hard enough. Good luck!

I guess if it is a small office they will want the opinion of everyone as to if they think you will fit in. I hope you get it.

I agree with everyone to me the first thank note is a way to remind the company of you and it worked

I wouldn't send another . I have been on a second interview ,but only interviewed by management never by office staff I guess this company does things differently this isn't a bad thing the question is .......Did you like them ????

Hope you get the job! You never get a second interview unless they are highly interested.
