I hope that they do work!! I had to leave my apartment for awhile because I kept hitting F5 and refreshing the BON website to see if anything had changed! Of course, now I am back and I started all over again!

I didn't have any doubts that you would because most of the questions are pretty common sense type questions.

When I was getting ready to write mine I got one of those prep guides that has the refresher material followed by some pages of questions. My friend was curious about the type of questions we get on our exams so she asked if she could look at the book. Without having any type of medical background at all or having read any of the material in the book other than the questions, she managed to answer enough of the questions to have received a passing grade and get a nursing license if that had been the actual exam.
Most of the questions were psycho-social questions and "how would you respond/reply..." Quite silly really to make us go through that number of years in school and then give us questions on the proper wording of what you would say to someone in response to something they said.

Well, you know, I ended up with mostly med questions. They didn't really seem to be common sense stuff-- it was more you knew it or you didn't. Then I got a med calculation as well. That was fine, but it's a little nerve wracking getting that many med questions when you know it's your weak point!! Before anyone worries that nurses don't know what the medications that they are handing out are for, we have drug books to look them up. I like to reassure people of that since I wouldn't want someone handing me a med without knowing what it's for!!
